1. Is AI same as ML?

No, although Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are very much related, ML is a subset of AI.
Machine learning is a collection of learning techniques employed to build smartness into computer actions, that in turn become Artificial Intelligence. Improvements in Machine Learning directly results in smarter behavioral outcomes of AI.
Recommendation systems utilized by Amazon, Google, self-driving cars, smart traffic management systems are all aspects of AI that improve regularly with improvements in Machine Learning technologies.
Machine learning majorly depends on the collection and supply of large amounts of authentic and unbiased data.

2. How do I learn AI and ML?

A good place to start is Machine Learning because it is the foundation of all AI.
Machine Learning has a few major aspects, building efficient algorithms based on mathematical principles and models, collecting large amounts of data to train and test these algorithms to create efficient ML models, and finding and reducing errors to improve performance.
Being a part of any of these processes can provide great experience and insight into the world of AI and ML.
The easiest to start with would be the training and testing processes by preparing accurate and unbiased data sets since this does not need one to know any significant coding.

3. Does AI and ML require coding?

Yes to be a successful AI and ML developer one has to be proficient in programming skills along with Mathematics and statistics.
A good starting point would be to learn and develop skills in Python programming.

Python's simplicity allows developers to write reliable systems. Python code is understandable by humans, which makes it easier to build models for machine learning. Other languages are used in an application-specific manner in ML and AI.

6. Where is machine learning used today?

Machine learning is applied in self-driving cars, smart traffic management systems, recommendations systems on youtube, and amazon like platforms where user behaviour is tracked and analyzed automatically to make the user experience personalized.
It is used in prediction systems to predict maintenance activities in industries and also weather prediction systems, AI and ML also forms the backbone of search engines like google and is largely employed in fraud detection and online financial crime prevention.
