nikita attended lydnow robotics courses during her secondary school studies in pune

Nikita Yeole age 19 years

Nikita attended Lydnow's Robotics courses during her secondary school studies. Nikita is currently pursuing her graduation in law from London.

Lydnow was an amazing opportunity for me to learn. It's one of best courses I have ever been to. There is constant learning with exciting approaches and opportunities. I was 13 years old when I first started the basic course of robotics with Arijit Sir, I didn't know why I had signed up for the course until I actually sat through the first day, and as time passed, everything around me was exciting and fun as Arijit Sir made technology and robotic terms so easy for us to understand and grasp as kids. This course has helped me to be confident, developed my organisational skills, and has made me realise how important it is to work in a team. I am glad that I was a part of this course and grew up around it.

zyfn kothawala completed 5 levels of robotics and automation training with lydnow robotics

Zyfn Kothavala age 14 years

Completed 5 levels of Robotics and Automation training with Lydnow Robotics. He is currently in her 9th grade. Zyfn has represented Lydnow Robotics at IIT Techfest 2018 where his team won Cozmo Clench competition, competing with teams from 150+ engineering colleges.

I enjoy learning at Lydnow a lot. Lydnow has taken me from being an 11-year-old kid who couldn't tell head from tail in robotics, to one who is confident in undertaking semi-complex projects on his own. I feel Lydnow has a one-of-a-kind way of teaching. Even something as mundane as how a relay switch works was made fun by the teachers at Lydnow. I feel that Lydnow's X-Factor is that at Lydnow, one is taught from the ground up, instead of simply being given a kit and instruction manual to do 'Advanced Robotics'. I would definitely attend anything at Lydnow again. I have and will continue to recommend Lydnow to all my friends, and everyone I know who is interested in Robotics.

Aaryan Chaubal age 14 years

Completed 5 levels of Robotics and Automation training with Lydnow Robotics. He is currently in her 9th grade. Aryan has represented Lydnow Robotics at IIT Techfest 2015 and 2018 where his team won Cozmo Clench competition, competing with teams from 150+ engineering colleges.

Lydnow robotics is a great institution and is doing a great job at taking care of its students, making sure they succeed and pursue their dreams. It is a very well-structured and standardised system of courses. As students we learnt problem solving first hand at Lydnow. We would team up and figure things out step by stem and that was a lot of fun for me. I have chosen Lydnow courses because it offers me with challenging competitions with not only my peers but with enthusiasts from all across India. I was able to take the journey from being a 6th grader to winning a national competition at IIT Mumbai with Lydnow's guidance. I have become very self reliant and confident, as a direct result. At Lydnow, it's not about the result but how you got there, we learn the most during our journeys with the amazing mentors at Lydnow.

The course at Lydnow is extremely well planned and the standard improves significantly every year. The course content keeps improving over the years and adapts with changing technology. At the same time, the extremely able teachers execute the curriculum in a way that the memory of the essential concepts from the lasts a lifetime. The courses focus on the absolute essentials of the subject that can be applied to multiple project ideas.

siddharth naik is a part of ai based start up that aims at reducing police task force response time

Siddharth Naik age 19 years

Siddharth attended Lydnow's Robotics courses in 2015. He is currently pursuing his graduation studies from University of Texas. He is also a part of an AI based start-up that aims at reducing police task force's response time during terror attacks.

I had a great experience at Lydnow Robotics. There was a lot of hands-on experience and at the same time, we were guided by proficient teachers who helped us fine-tune and implement our ideas. I think going through the process of building a robot from scratch was extremely beneficial for me. Any project we made came through many rounds of planning, design, testing, and debugging. I learnt something new from each solution we came up with, and gradually, my confidence began to grow. My favorite memory from Lydnow would be the competitions and winning those at that age motivated me a lot. I think Lydnow is taking great initiative to teach such advanced skills to young children, some of whom have barely begun middle school, and this is an opportunity that must not be missed. I would highly recommend taking advantage of everything Lydnow has to offer.

dhruv attended lydnow robotics courses in 2015

Dhruv Chakraborty age 19 years

Dhruv attended Lydnow's Robotics courses in 2015. He is currently pursuing his graduation studies from University of California, Los Angeles.

My name is Dhruv Chakraborty and I was a student at Lydnow for a couple years intermittently during high school. I am currently a student of mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles and I believe my experience at Lydnow played a major role in helping me get here. In particular, I believe Arijit Sir played a huge role in not only teaching me robotics and other technical skills but also helping me develop as a person and team-player. I highly recommend joining Lydnow, for I believe working in groups and learning how to manage projects are crucial life skills that I wouldn't have otherwise learnt. Obviously, there are more direct benefits to learning robotics, engineering and programming in and of themselves, which Lydnow also excels at imparting. I hope to go into academia or a highly team based corporate role following university, and I am certain the skills I developed at Lydnow will help me at either.

yukhta bhadane says her experience was very enriching and has actively driven my ability to think

Yuktha Bhadane age 19 years

Yuktha is currently pursuing he undergraduate program at University of London for Bsc. Economics.

I started my classes at Lydnow during my summer vacations, right after 8th grade. I was curious to know how all the terms I learnt in school like electricity, conductors etc. actually worked. I loved that I could practically test whatever I was taught which kindled my curiosity. My entire experience was wonderful. The courses were extremely engaging. By the end of it, I had learnt how to make things work by myself and I was taught to question the mechanism of objects around me. Overall, my experience was very enriching and has actively driven my ability to think, thereon. At Lydnow, we were given the freedom to choose whatever way we wanted things to work and thereafter were given, all the support, assistance required to make it work. At the age of 14, this was my first encounter with perseverance. It counted as a major part of my self-development even as a team player. I understood how to assign and take up work in a team, which I was not exposed to earlier.

aryan dahad says his 2 years with lydnow and it was a productive and enjoyable journey

Aryan Dahad age 17 years

Aryan is currently pursuing Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, University of Buffalo, New York.

I spent about 2 years with Lydnow and it was a productive and enjoyable journey. I learnt a lot of new things, picked up some very essential skills, made some new friends, and built many good robots too! I learnt the basics of electrical circuits and systems in a practical way which I wouldn't have otherwise understood only being inside the 4 walls of high school to be honest. The training also helped me develop my critical thinking and the ability to communicate and work in a team. My favourite memories of Lydnow are that of working on the robots, laughing, getting disciplined in our work approach, and the late night testing and practice sessions with our Robots during events at the IIT Mumbai hostels.

Goury Acharya

Parent of Neel Acharya and Tanvi Acharya from our 2017 and 2018 Robotics batches respectively

I am very happy with the courses conducted by Lydnow Robotics. Their style of training is very hands-on and they train with ample time provided for each project. The training actually encourages the students to think and solve problems on their own, as opposed to just following directions. What's great is that just the right amount of guidance provided by instructors, they do not over simplify things or rescue the students too often, they allow students to make mistakes and learn from them. Both my children Neel and Tanvi have become more confident about working on technical projects and applying themselves to problem solving. Both have developed a very good understanding of robotics and related science topics.

Nazneen Boocha

Parent of Zyfn Kothavala from our 2017 Robotics batch

Some of the things that I like the most about Lydnow's courses are small batch sizes, personalized attention given to each child, accessibility for parents to coordinate with trainers and track a child's progress. The training team's commitment for students is great. Kids not just acquire hands-on skills but also learn to perform while working with teams. They learn discipline and planning while working on projects that come with deadlines. Zyfn's love for robotics and technology increased; his confidence in his ability to "build things", eagerness to learn more about programming and the excitement of going to IIT Techfest; all of these were memorable parts of our journey at Lydnow. Thank you to Arijit and the coaches of Lydnow for your style, dedication, commitment to the children and making it easy for them to have fun while learning. We hope you continue to encourage many more kids to take this up. We are extremely satisfied and would recommend Lydnow's programs to anyone interested.

Parent of Arjun and Aditya Thakur from our 2017 and 2018 Robotics batches respectively

I am very satisfied with our experience at Lydnow Robotics. Their courses were perfect for my kids. It's a very hands-on class. Plus, the instructors are easily accessible and actively encourage kids to take up and finish projects on time - irrespective of the projects being a part of Lydnow's regular curriculum or not. The robotics competitions gave him a lot of confidence and exposure. I am sure my child has cultivated a lot of technical expertise at a young age and that will set course for a bright future. The management is genuinely passionate about developing the kids' abilities and knowledge. They keep organizing various events - competitions, factory tours, etc so that kids get as much exposure as possible.

Parent of Pooja V from our 2018 Robotics batch

I am definitely not an expert in this field & cannot say much about the course modules. But, I have seen Pooja through the 5 levels of her Robotics training at Lydnow & by that I can say she understood the core concepts in each level and disciplines of robotics and automation. Experiences like the Volkswagen factory visit & IIT Mumbai Techfest helped to expand her horizons & broaden her knowledge. Arijit sir's attitude and his down to earth team is unique. They give students space to explore, encouragement & the freedom to be creative in the robotics lab. As a mentor he understands each student's goal & uses his expertise to support them along the way & have fun doing it. Pooja has been with the Lydnow team from past 2.5 yrs & what hasn't changed is her enthusiasm for attending Lydnow classes. On serious note, she learnt how to express herself & listen & relate to others-honing valuable life skills during her journey at Lydnow. I could see an improvement in her understanding with the mechanical systems, programming logic & electrical components & need for precision. It's amazing to watch her passion grow in subjects that she never knew she would love.
"The greatest sign of success for a teacher ....is to be able to say, 'The children are now working as if I did not exist'. " --Maria Montessori. Lydnow team works hard to achieve this through their programs. So, what more can I add, except wishing to see more branches of Lydnow Robotics. Happy to have found your institute for Pooja's robotics classes!

Lydnow programs come with personal attention, jovial attitude of the instructors, interactive teaching experience for students. Students grow faster when they are involved in design process of their projects and given responsibilities. My son Vihang experienced independence, developed logical thinking, and they acquired hands-on skills. They get to experience team work at a young age. They brainstorm designs, make parts, test their robots and schedule their practice sessions with each other. The entire process itself facilitates tremendous change and growth for students.

Mrs. Geetanjali Bodankar

Principal, Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School, Kothrud, Pune

My students are enjoying working on the various projects during Lydnow's sessions. The demonstrations done and prototypes used in the sessions are analogous to the syllabus and are easy to understand. The projects made are innovative and encourage students to do design thinking. The do-it-yourself approach at Lydnow sessions also encourage students to use day to day material to build their projects and not depend on ready made kits. I am also impressed with the patience and care that the instructors demonstrate while working with students. Lydnow team is also able to support the school in a meaningful and functional way during school's own projects and initiatives related to technology.

Executive VP - Delivery, Extentia

Arijit and Rahul from Lydnow played a key role in contributing to Extentia's 24-hour hackathon held in Sept 2019 - X24 Season 5. From working with the core organizing group to defining the content of the training; to contributing to ideas around the core theme of "Smart Scape" and being the X24 Coaches for Season 5 - it was a rewarding and fun experience to work with them. In a few weeks they were able to train 30+ software engineers in the key principles of IoT devices - programming the hardware, integrating software, and testing everything. This required several hours of planning, active classroom training (accommodating our schedules), and hands-on exercises - ultimately ensuring that all teams were equally ready for the challenge.

I thank Arijit, Rahul and the team of Lydnow for the support they provided in procuring the right hardware, supporting the definition of challenge statements, and creating the X24 kits that that worked incredibly well during the hackathon. During the hackathon, they continued to play a vital role - helping teams troubleshoot, answer questions, giving the organizers feedback, and generally elevating the mood and confidence for everyone involved.

Our thanks to Team Lydnow for the amazing work and contribution to X24 and their role in making it a great success!
