1. Is this class offline or online?
  • The 3D printing beginner is a part offline and part offline course
  • The design assignments would be carried out online with live support from Lydnow trainers. Operating 3D printers and essentials of pre-print stage will be carried out through in-class training
  • Lydnow's 3D printing courses facilitate a creative and skill-oriented journey in the world of computer-aided designs and additive manufacturing.
  • Students begin their journey by designing and printing objects of utility while working on easy to use design platforms. Students develop problem-solving and design thinking abilities by working on 3D design challenges during the course.
  • The 3D design advance course also helps students understand the working of a 3D printer and introduces them to the basics of controlling and enhancing 3D print quality by manipulating various printer settings.
  • The students learn to achieve complex design objectives through projects and live training. The course covers a complete expereince of the 3D printing cycle; from design to slicing to setting printing parameters to post processing. This course packs in a very detailed experience into the 3D printing technology and its applications.

  • 3d Printing course's offline version comes with the added experience of working around and handling a 3D printer.

  • Lydnow's 3D printing online courses include beginner and intermediate level courses.
  • For the advanced courses any student who belongs to the specified age group can attend; we prefer fo the student to have prior exposure to 3D designing softwares like tinkercad.
  • For 3D printing intermediate courses, additionally, a student needs to have attended Lydnow's beginner level course in the same course category or have the required practical knowledge and understanding before attending the intermediate level course.
  • It is best if you get in touch with us for an evaluation before signing up for an intermediate level course, in case you have not attended the beginner course with Lydnow.
  • The advanced 3D designing course takes students 3D designing abilities to a professional level.
  • Students graduate to using industrial CAD design software and also learn finer details of controlling 3D printer settings.
  • There is also the additional opportunity to assemble a 3D printer from scratch and set it up for printing, giving the students a much deeper insight into the working of FDM 3D printing and developing their troubleshooting abilities.
  • In terms of CAD designing software in 3D designing, students start with easy to use online 3D designing tools like Tinkercad.
  • In intermediate and advance courses, students graduate to more professional and complex software like sketch 3d and fusion 360.
  • In the online part of the courses, we demonstrate live 3D printing activities on our 3D printers from our centers.
  • Students also can see a virtual build sequence of their 3D prints on their slicing software.
  • Review and doubt solving sessions are schduled between trainers and students on demand for 3D Printing Course
  • For 3D printing online courses, live sessions are recorded and shared with students after the sessions.
  • In the event of missing one or more sessions, students are required to watch the recorded sessions, complete the practical activities, and report the same to Lydnow's Trainers.
  • For offline sessions, students are required to put in extra hours to cover what they have missed. We do not recommend missing more than one session during 3D printing and design courses.
  • Essentially 3D designing does not require any hardware. Notes and assignments are provided online.
  • Students however can order for their 3D designs to be printed and delivered to them.
  • Yes. Students living in Pune can choose any 2 projects to be 3D printed for them. They can collect the same from our centers.
  • Students not residing in Pune can ask us to send the 2 projects by post.
  • Lydnow's 3D printing beginner course are a mix of recorded on-demand videos and live interactive sessions with trainers.
  • Students can ask real-time doubts and questions during the sessions and during live support sessions.
  • Yes, you can but with prior notice and minimum 3-days ahead of the start date of the 3D printing course.
