  • 1. Where can I find more information about the courses offered by Lydnow?

    Our course catalog is available on the Courses tab of our website. Lydnow's home page contains links to our upcoming and popular courses. If you find a course that might interest you, hitting the 'Register' button will take you to the online registration form. The Register page has the online registration forms that you will be required to fill up. Our brochure is periodically updated and is available on our website for downloading. Any further questions can be sent to info@lydnow.com.

  • 2. Who are these courses suitable for?

    The courses are designed to attract young learners who are keen on learning about science, technology, electronics and automation. This includes students of the age 6 years and above. Any child under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • 3. What if my child has a disability or needs extra help?

    We aim to be as inclusive as possible with an 'open to all children' policy. If your child requires extra support, please send us an email on info@lydnow.com or call us on +91 97631 63833 to discuss your child's specific needs on the course. Do let us know if any special arrangements need to be made. Although we cannot provide additional staff for any children at the moment, we are happy to allow a child's caregiver on the course as long as this doesn't affect the participation of other children in the group.

  • 4. Who teaches these courses?

    Our courses are taught by a team of distinguished subject matter experts, teachers and engineers.

  • 5. Where and when is the course held?

    Our courses are held at multiple locations in Pune through regular short-term courses (day-long, two / three day classes or week-long classes) or long term courses (over several weekends or a few months). In 2020, our courses will be available in Pune Camp, Kothrud, Baner, Koregaon Park, and Viman Nagar. To learn more about batch timings, follow the individual course schedules on the Register page.

  • 6. How many people would normally attend each course?

    Each course has 7 to 14 available places. Places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until each batch is filled to capacity. Generally we have courses running every Saturday and Sunday, so even a single student can come and join in. We can take up to a maximum of 14 students per batch, although we try to split them into a maximum of 3 students per group.

  • 10. Can I pay in installments?

    The course fee must be paid in FULL before the start of the course. Please note that the option to pay in installments is available only in an unavoidable emergency situation which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our Admissions team.

  • 12. Are there any scholarships?

    Yes, two scholarships are available on each course, for the benefit of those who would otherwise be unable to attend. Applications for these places are competitively assessed, applicants are interviewed on the basis of merit and financial need.

  • 13. How do I register for a course?

    Booking with Lydnow is simple. Follow the link to the registration form on our website and fill up the relevant details. Once you've chosen the course and the most convenient location, just select the dates you need and then pay by credit card /debit card /via net banking. Wait for a response mail from our Admissions team that would have your registration number, a questionnaire, payment details and instructions. Fill up the questionnaire and send it to us. Alternatively, you can call our admissions team on +91 97631 63833 and we will be more than happy to help you through your booking.

  • 14. When should I register?

    Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and the registration process will be closed once all places on the course are taken. You are advised to register early and secure your seat to avoid disappointment. The safe zone is two weeks before the commencement of a course.

  • 15. What can I expect? What materials will I be provided with?

    Please arrive at the relevant Lydnow Training Centre 10 minutes prior to the time confirmed on your booking confirmation. Your course instructor will kit you out with a full course pack, together with course materials such as handouts, notes and a mini-electronics kit that you will need. Your course instructor will also run through a full safety briefing and demonstrate the basics of your activity before you actually start with your practical session.

  • 17. What will I get at the end of the course?

    A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all those who attend at least five of the six course sessions in the case of our short-term courses. A statement of accomplishment will be awarded to all those who attend all sessions in the case of our long-term courses. Students will be permitted to take away the projects made during these courses.

  • 18. How do I reschedule or cancel my booking? What is your cancellation and refund policy?

    You may reschedule with us without charge any time before the start of the course, but all cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If you wish to reschedule or cancel your booking, please call on +91 97631 63833. If your cancellation is received more than one week before the start of the course, you will be eligible for a 70% refund. If your cancellation is received within a week before the start of the course, you will be eligible for a 30% refund. If you cancel less than two days before, the course fee is entirely non-refundable. If written notification is not received and you do not attend, the full course fee will be retained as a cancellation charge. Mode of refund(post deductions) would be either the same as your original mode of payment or via electronic transfer to the account you have originally paid your fee from. Refunds would be made within 24 working hours, post written communication from Lydnow Robotics confirming the cancellation of your seat and your refund amount.

  • 21. Can my child sign themselves in/out of class?

    Children aged 10 years old and over can sign themselves in and out of classes. Parents are advised to keep us informed about their child's pick and drop arrangements. Parents need to contact Lydnow on +91 97631 63833 if the child has not left from home or returned home by the time expected.

  • 22. What if my child is nervous about attending the course?

    We see that children are usually settled within a short time, making new friends and connections. Our experienced instructors know how to welcome new children and make them feel comfortable and confident within their group. Parents are welcome to call us during the day to check on how your child is settling in.
