Drones have grown in popularity over the years. Who isn't fascinated by a tiny machine that can fly in any direction, take off, hover, or descend using a remote controller? Lydnow conducts a two-part course that teaches students to drone-ify everyday objects using drone technology. This course looks into different aspects of designing a basic frame for building a nano quadcopter. Students also learn about drone motion, motor design, propeller direction, and the fundamentals of flight control. Students assemble their own ready-to-fly drones.

1. Is the Drones course available online?
  • This  Drone course  aims at covering fundamentals of drone design for students and experience in assembling and flying your mini racing drone.
  • Students design their drone frame, 3D print it and assemble all electronic controls. Students also get introduced to simulation software that helps them understand flight controllers and other drone sensors.
  • A brief understanding of the drone power supply design is also covered. Students learn to assemble and fly their own Mini Racing Drones.
  •  Lydnow's Drones online courses  include beginner and intermediate level courses. For beginner-level courses any student who belongs to the specified age group can attend; there are no other prerequisites.
  • For intermediate courses, additionally, a student needs to have attended Lydnow's beginner level course in the same course category or have the required practical knowledge and understanding before attending the intermediate level course.
  • It is best if you get in touch with us for an evaluation before signing up for an intermediate level course, in case you have not attended the beginner course with Lydnow.
  • The  Drone advance course  focuses on building a more robust and bigger micro category drone system that is equipped with various sensors and cameras.
  • These drones are built for long-range flights and are designed to carry certain payloads.
  • Students understand all design aspects of high-performance drones at the advanced courses. The beginner level course focuses on systems design for nano category palm-sized drones.
  • Yes, you will be trained to fly your  Drone  during this course.
  • Yes, for the  online drone course  , you will get to keep the mini drone kit that will be sent to you.
  • The cost of the drone kit will be included in your course fee. For the offline version, this is optional.
  • The course comes with a complete set of  mini-drones kit. 
  • Extra components can be purchased from us or our channel partners.
  • Yes, you will have enough knowledge to assemble and make your mini drone after this course.
  • You might have to purchase your parts if you choose to make changes to the  Drone design  you make during the course. We will provide post-course support for the same.
  • Yes, we will connect you to the best sources known to us for purchasing  drone  parts.
  • Yes, you will have enough basic knowledge about a drone's system design after this course. You can take on a  DIY drone project. 
  • However, you might want to access some guidance for bigger drones. Big size or micro category and bigger drones need a more detailed understanding of various design factors that need to be considered while making drones of that category.
  • We suggest that you attend the advance drone course to cover the same before attempting to build your big size drone.
  • Review and doubt solving sessions are scheduled between trainers and students on demand for  drones courses 
  • For  Drone online courses  , live sessions are recorded and shared with students after the sessions.
  • In the event of missing one or more sessions, students are required to watch the recorded sessions, complete the practical activities, and report the same to Lydnow's Trainers.
  • For offline sessions, students are required to put in extra hours to cover what they have missed. We do not recommend missing more than one session.
  • Lydnow's  drone online courses  are live interactive sessions with trainers.
  • Students can ask real-time doubts and questions during the sessions.
  • Yes, but with prior notice and minimum 3 days ahead of the start date of the drone course.
