Mobile robotics is a technological innovation that deals with making task specific autonomous and semi-autonomous mobile robots that can perform remote tasks in an efficient manner.
Mobile robots usually are equipped with sensors and have the ability to send live information from its site and receive control signals as well. Typically, they are controlled from a remote station, either by a human being or by a computerised algorithm; depending on the live feed received from the robot.
The important areas of work in Mobile Robotics involve, electromechanical system design(to determine what sensors, locomotion devices, task specific actuators, and power supply system will the robot need to perform its tasks), communication system design(to determine range and type of wireless communication, encryption protocols), autonomous / semi-autonomous behaviour programming.

Lydnow’s Mobile Robotics online course is a 6 day composite online course that teaches students the basics of making a Land Rover robot and designing the android app to control the mobility and speed of the robot.
This autonomous mobile robotics course will empower students with fundamental understanding of this field and equip them with basic technical skills such as setting up Bluetooth communication,App development, Mechanical robot assembly, Wiring schematics and Data management. The programming software used to teach visual robot programming is MIT app inventor.
Lydnow’s introduction to semi - autonomous mobile robots through this course aims at making students competent with this technology in an optimistic and fun learning environment that involves interactive lectures and exercises,
It also acquaints the students with the concepts of mechatronic systems, robot behaviour simulation and monitoring of mobile robots. Students experience the process of collecting, processing data and executing control signals from the app to the robot.
