Industrial automation involves the use of integrated software and hardware based systems such as computers, robots and IT to sense, control, supervise and monitor industrial processes and machinery. Lydnow offers a course in PLC and System Design to individuals aged 18+ years inclined to pursue a career in industrial automation. In this course, students are oriented to programming a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and also taught about system architecture design using PLCs. They learn about HMI (Human Machine Interface) and SCADA, a graphical interface that remotely controls the industrial operations. They also learn to work on EPLAN, a design CAD package used extensively in industries.
