Lydnow IoT summer course

The Lydnow IoT course is an advanced course specially designed to teach young minds how systems are developed using IoT technology. It gives a comprehensive understanding of system development from both software and hardware perspectives, and how they are interrelated.

In this practical course, students get to experience first hand, the thrill of developing their own smart IoT ecosystem and get to learn as much from hiccups as from successes as they go along.

This course equips students with spatial perception skills, simulation and modelling skills, and builds their interest in IoT research and innovation. With over 36 hours of work already put in, this course gives students an edge over others when they prepare to enrol for graduation.

This online course is conducted through live interactive sessions with experienced trainers at Lydnow, who are available for any queries even beyond class timings. A smart home IoT kit is delivered to the student before the course begins.

1. What does the IoT kit include?

The IoT kit is an integrated smart home hardware environment that the students can program for IoT functionalities.
Sensors and output devices are integrated with an IoT gateway device that seamlessly sends and receives data through your wifi router or hotspot.
Students can build cloud services, data models, and remote control IoT apps and fully control all features inside the smart home model.

2. What is an IoT course?

Internet of things technology connect electronic devices and sensors over the internet and helps create and operate smart data-driven environments.
The technology is aimed at making industrial design and decision-making processes more real and efficient.
A good IoT course typically will include hands-on learning opportunities in IoT communication protocols, Microcontroller programming, IoT data collection, Data analysis, IoT control systems and Cloud infrastructure

3. How do i start learning IoT from scratch?

A good way to start in any advanced field of technology is to work with experienced mentors in the initial phase.
IoT control systems deal with collecting data from sensors, uploading data on the cloud, run data-driven decisions remotely, and control output devices according to the decisions.
Beginners in IoT can first work with various sensors and output devices and build control systems that integrate them via simple microcontrollers. Sending and receiving data over the air and storing and analyzing data on the cloud can be the next frontiers.
Preferred platforms, to begin with, are Arduino and NodeMCUs.

4. What if i miss a few sessions during the IoT course?

We provide limited time slots for students to do extra work with trainers to cover up for any sessions they miss.
Up to 2 sessions of IoT Online Course can be missed and cover-up for with trainer support. Recorded sessions, worksheets, and session notes are regularly sent to students.

5. When will i receive the kit ?

Students should register at least a weak in advance with us for the IoT or any hardware-based course. IoT Kits are dispatched on the same day.
Pune and Mumbai residents can expect kit delivery within 48 hours from the date of registration.

6. Will i be given post course support?

Yes. Lydnow trainers are always available for help in a systematic manner. Book a slot with your trainers ahead of time to get your doubts and queries resolved.
Post completion of the course we also provide you with challenging used cases that you can design and implement using the hardware provided in your kit.
